Canada derives strength from the diversity of its population and its tradition of tolerance. For over two centuries, Polish immigrants have contributed to Canada’s history, traditions, customs, church, economy, politics, trade, science, art and culture. Today in Canada, there are more than 1.1 million people of Polish descent. For over 100 years Poles are present in Windsor. They are a vibrant part of the multicultural fabric of our city. October 14,2020 marks the 25th anniversary of the beginning of our Association’s contributions to Windsor, Ontario, Canada, and Poland. The 20th anniversary of the start of the Windsor-Lublin relationship as twin cities was on June 26, 2020. We are involved in strengthening the international links in business, education, and culture between our countries. For many years, we have supported our younger generation to build strong leaders for the future of Canada.
