##about.aboutContext##
Managed by the Leddy Library, the University of Windsor Digital Publishing hosts and supports the digital publishing of scholarly monographs. We provide a flexible and open alternative to traditional publishing that emphasizes digital publishing with connected print-on-demand services. We seek to ensure that the works available here are freely avaible open access and distributed under Creative Commons licenses in order to maximize the impact of these works. While each series or project is managed by faculty and staff from departments across campus, they may carry with them connections to researchers around the globe. Oversight of the process for managing each series and selecting the titles that appear in them as part of the University of Windsor Digital Publishing Service rests with the individual research teams that partner with the Leddy Library.
Open Access Policy
Open Access scholarly research is published online, free of charge, and free of most copyright and licensing restrictions (although it does require that proper attribution of works be given to authors). Most works available from the University of Windsor Digital Press are made available open access under varied Creative Commons Licenses.
