University of Windsor Digital Publishing
Managed by the Leddy Library, the University of Windsor Digital Publishing hosts and supports the digital publishing of scholarly monographs. We provide a flexible and open alternative to traditional publishing that emphasizes digital publishing with connected print-on-demand services. We seek to ensure that the works available here are freely avaible open access and distributed under Creative Commons licenses in order to maximize the impact of these works. While each series or project is managed by faculty and staff from departments across campus, they may carry with them connections to researchers around the globe. Oversight of the process for managing each series and selecting the titles that appear in them as part of the University of Windsor Digital Publishing rests with the individual research teams that partner with the Leddy Library.

The Theory and History of Education Monograph Series
Founded in 2018, the new Theory and History of Education Monograph Series (THE) is published by the Theory and History of Education International Research Group (THEIRG) at Queen’s university and compliments the group's open access journal: Encounters in Theory and History of Education.
The Theory and History of Education Monograph Series evolved from the THEIRG open access journal: Encounters in Theory and History of Education, established in 2000. This well-indexed journal has an international readership spanning more than 30 countries, from Argentina to New Zealand, from Albania to the United Kingdom. Building on this success, this new monograph series welcomes manuscripts and, on occassion, edited volumes with a compelling narrative on the history of education, philosophy of education, interdisciplinary perspectives on educational theory, sociological historical approaches, and intellectual history of education. We encourage the submission of studies that explore fresh lines of thought, well grounded critical analysis, or new and innovative ways of approaching knowledge creation and dissemination in education. We welcome submissions written in English or in French.
Promoting open and sustainable publishing approaches that support the efficient and cost-effective publication of new scholarship to the widest possible audience, all monographs are published under an appropriate Creative Commons license. About Creative Commons Licenses. Choose a License.
